My white blood count is 18.4..and asthma is bad now...is it ok to take prednisone for 5 days or what's my options to treat asthma attack?

Please see your MD: Don't self medicate, your wbc is high probably a steroid effect, seems your asthma is uncontrolled, see your doctor/Urgent care/ER now, later you may want to see an allergist, check aaaai.org or acaai.org for an allergist in your area, good luck
