Tests are ordered based on the information you provide , examination your physician conducts and conclusion , never based on what patient wants. That is good medicine ( practice )

Right back pain: There are many causes of right back pain, most of which can be determined by a history and physical exam. Tests which might be useful to help find a cause include a chest x-ray, blood tests, including liver tests, an ultrasound of the gallbladder, and/or a urinalysis. It should be clear to your doctor if any of these tests are necessary. If your pain persists, go back to your doctor. Good luck.
