I have swollen glands in right side of neck behind my ear and a bulging painful knot growing bigger on top of my head. What could be the reason for this?

Hard nickel sized lump under left ear. 2 months. Getting harder and harder. ENT got CT scan done. Said no abnormalities/no swollen lymph nodes. If I lift my head or open jaw wide it sometimes get "stuck" and squishes out from under jaw. Scary.
