Aspirin: 2 adult aspirins every 6 hours would be the limit, but you shouldn't take this dose for more than a day or two because of potential irritation of the stomach and duodenal lining and gi bleeding. It is unnecessary to take this theurapeutic dose of aspirin nowadays because of the availability of medication like Tylenol, (acetaminophen)ibuprofen,Aleve,etc and these also have their own precautions.
