So i'm looking to get on a mood stabilizer, i was on depokote in the past. my current doctor doesn't want me on it. he is suggesting gabapentin and inderal (propranolol). what do you guys think? depokote has worked great for me in the past.

Depokote OK but: Depokote can be Ok but there may be a medical reason why your physician does not want to use. There could be toxicity reasons or your evaluation medically may suggest reasons why the gabapentin and inderal (propranolol) may be a great idea. You need to discuss these with your physician

Get another opinion: If you were female, I might have reservations too about Depakote adverse reactions, but see no overt reason why you could not take. Gabapentin, and especially Inderal (propranolol) both have nasty side effects, and together they could really affect you badly. Time to find a second opinion.
