Medication : When you change or add medication and it seems to be causing significant side effects like those you mentioned, you should contact the prescribing physician and tell him of the side effectsand take their advice about changing the medication or discontinuing the use of the medication.

Change: Levonorgestrel, because it is somewhat androgenic, causes all these symptoms in some people. Ethinylestradiol, like all estrogens, is hazardous to use if there are migraines. Especially migraine with aura. You should avoid hormones. There are non-hormonal types of birth control.
