Cardio or CT Surgeon: An interventional cardiologist who specializes in cardiac catheterizations or a cardio-thoracic (CT) surgeon would be the most expert in reading cardiac cath films. I think the former is more practical, unless cardiac bypass surgery has been recommended, then a CT surgeon makes more sense. Take care!

More is better: In order to get a very good and comfortable reading echos, you need someone who reads a lot of them.He will prob want to see you, since the views are very dep on the tech and cardio who ordered it.You may want to find out who reads them for your hospital and choose one of them for your second opinion.

Specialist.: I'd say either a Cardiologist or Cardiothoracic Surgeon if you want someone to review the actual films generated during the procedure.

Heart cath: Interventional cardiologist would be best place to start to review your heart catheterization. Your health problems may be from other causes, however.
