A member asked:

I have a series of small knots or lumps on the outside of my right calf in the muscle beginning just below the tib/fib palteau... what could this be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many things: These could be small muscle hernias, varicose veins, cysts or some other lesion and it makes it difficult to be more specific with out seeing the problem closely. Please get to see your family physician and have him/her give you a diagnosis.
