Antibiotics: If you have an infection in your finger, you should be seen by an MD. They can prescribe antibiotics if necessary. Hand infections are especially dangerous and can lead to disabilities if not treated properly. This is something that would be appropriate for urgent care visit if you can't get into your PCP in a day.
