Work with Docs: The effects of an ASD and ps continue to evolve in such young children. The pressures in their pulmonary arteries continue to fall for the first few months after birth. This decrease will possibly lead to changes in the echo findings. Specifically, the pressure gradient across the pulmonary valve and amount of flow across the ASD mayh change. For now, follow-up closely with the cardiologist.
