Bad pain in upper back. it's pinching/stabbing pain and it hurts most when sitting down?

Back pain: Do you have scoliosis ( s curve) of spine? Injury? Sound like musculoskeletal or disc related though you are young for disc (unless you do gymnastics or back pain from any vigorous sport ). Try motrin if not allergic, warm compresses kinesiotape on area PT,cushion on seat and follow up with doc , May need MRI Go to ER if numbness, weakness, difficulty with urination

Musculoskeletal : If you are otherwise well, it may be that you have strained your back. Be checked if you are not getting better. It sounds positional so maybe trying another chair? All the best.
