Low back pain: Is pain over the spine or to one side? Does it shoot down leg? Any numbness or tingling in leg(s)? Previous history of back injury? If NSAID & heat don't help, have fp or orthopedics examine you. Other possibility: kidney stone. Any blood in urine or difficulty urinating? See doc for good evaluation; if pain very severe, go to er for workup.
