Yes: In particular, biliary dyskinesia is thought to be a functional gallbladder problem, and can sometimes be diagnosed with a CCK-HIDA scan. If you get this, make sure to note if the CCK administration causes your pain. Ask your primary care if this test, or a referral to a general surgeon is appropriate. Hope this helps!
