Yes: No problem with this. Do not overdo it because you may make it worse. Warm salt water rinses (1 tsp/8oz ) 4-5 times a day really help. Dry the area with a Q-tip first then apply oragel or baby oragel with a Q-tip. Good Luck. Good to consider the effects on your baby.

It is safe: However, using a topical agent with a mild anesthetic, like Orajel, will help decrease the pain, but will not decrease the time the healing. Canker sores are the most common oral lesions. Individual ulcers typically last 1-2 weeks.
