Canker Sores: Canker sores are painful oral lesions that look like shallow, round ulcers. There are many reason why canker sores appear including family history, trauma, hormones, food or drug hypersensitivity, and increased stress. Not great treatment options: triamcinolone acetonide in Orabase, fluocinonide gel covered by Orabase, and topical analgesics can help but not always effective.

Canker sores: Canker sores (aphthous ulcers) normally last 7-10 days. If you are getting sick at the same time, it may due to a viral infection (herpetic gingivostomatitis). If it has not healed in 10 days, have it examined by your dentist.
