I take celexa (citalopram) every day. i also have 1 glass of wine most nights. it does not enhance the effects of the alcohol / make me feel depressed. is this ok?

Caution: Best to limit alcohol consumption while on Celexa (citalopram). Even if you don't feel more depressed, alcohol + Celexa (citalopram) may cause additive effects such as dizziness, difficulty concentrating and drowsiness. You recently gave birth, so if you are breast feeding, check with baby's pcp for guidance as well. If you're using alcohol to relax, consider other ways to manage stress, eg, a mothers' group. Take care.

Why every night?: At age 24 having a drink every night could gradually increase and become problematic even if that is not the case now. Why do you need a drink every night?
