Yes: Young female has "hip" discomfort & sense of "locking" + radiation of pain to groin. These symptoms are compatible w. sacroiliac joint, SIJ, disorder. Vertebral disk disorders do not radiate to groin, but SIJ does. Absent childbirth or mechanical injury of SIJ, there becomes a need to consider contribution of Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, JHS. Osteopaths have diagnostic skills in this arena.

SIJ DISORDER/MED LIT:
The peer-reviewed medical literature reports that between 13 and 30% of persons with chronic low back pain experience pain generation from a disordered sacroiliac joint. Yet, the diagnosis is infrequently entertained. Interested clinicians can review my bibliography of sacroiliac joint disorder amongst my writings at Quora.com; on my Pain Syndrome Board.

Most doctors of medicine in the United States are ignorant how to properly diagnose sacroiliac joint disorder. The Occupational Disability Guidelines (ODG), a compendium devoted to industrial injury diagnosis and therapy, describes about 16 clinical signs that can be utilized to diagnose sacroiliac joint disorder.
