Yes: ? Re: lumbar fusion & post-op mobility. Certainly can limit & result in transfere of flexion forces to sacroiliac joints, SIJ, & repetitively stress them, over time, to pain & permanent loss of ligament integrity. Fusions oft incorporates patient's bone. Surgeons who fuse should avoid harvesting iliac crest bone because this procedure disrupts SIJ iliolumbar ligament; leading to same problems.
