Find good surgeon: Assuming u have a partial thickness rotator cuff tear.If your considering having surgery see an ors who has experience and skill w/ arthroscopic shoulder surgery.Partial thickness rctears can be 'debrided', repaired " intrasubstance", or 'taken down' and repaired back to bone depending on the size of the 'partial' tear.
