Atypical: Heart pain is less likely at rest while esophageal reflux commonly occurs when lying down. Your discomfort is most likely GI. Establish with a health care provider who can examine you and order appropriate testing to determine the nature of your concern. Treatment should be easy and effective regardless of the etiology.
