By all means: If you are a vegetarian, you have the moral high ground but will need a physician's guidance on supplementing or you will probably become seriously sick. Vegetarian claims that you can get sufficient iron without supplementing are disinformation. If you are weak, there is some cause other than your supplements. You need and deserve a full workup.
