Common feeling: that is not an unusual symptoms from coughing. If it continues or you have persistent headache numbness blurry vision or any other symptoms, you should of course go to an emergency room

Cough headaches..: ..are an unusual type of headache triggered by coughing and other types of straining--sneezing, laughing, crying, etc. Yours sounds like the more benign form that is brief and usually affects both sides of your head. Longer lasting headaches with dizziness or unsteadiness are more worrisome. It is something you should discuss with your doctor. After full eval, imaging (MR/CT) may be advised.
