My dr said i may need an unprepped sigmoidoscopy. will i have to be sedated? can i do it without sedation? what's involved?

Unprepped sigmoid: I would to know more about the reason for at the least not being able to get enemas prior to the procedure. These could include severe cardiac problems making you a higher risk. If these don't exist at the very least enemas could be used. I would advise using sedation as well
