Maybe look elsewhere: Your doctor should maintain levels of professionalism at all times, even in a situation where you as the patient are sedated. I would be concerned given his response and demeanor during your procedure and would maybe consider a different physician based on your level of comfort.

RUN: There should be no pain and in fact, you should not even remember the procedure with adequate sedation and anesthesia. In defense of your gi- the medicine to put you to sleep may have been adminsitered by another physician, an anesthesiologist: so before you run......Check on who gave you the medicine.
