Little if any risk: Once infected with HSV (HSV1 or HSV2), people are resistant to new infection with the same type, anywhere on the body. Having oral HSV1, you are at little if any risk for a genital HSV1 infection. Don't push your luck; avoid contact when your wife has an obvious outbreak. Otherwise no worries. Infection can occur at more than one site, but usually only if both sites are infected at the same time.
