Arthrosis: Sounds like you may have fluid in the knee from osteoarthritis and possibly a cyst. If not really painful, not dangerous. If FEELS hot (on the outside) or is red, then you could have inflammation or infection and since you are diabetic, you should be checked for gout or infection.
