A member asked:

Is feeling a few flutters in chest during exercise (rarely) common in young, healthy people. my doc is not concerned. am i the only one?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably fine!: Your heart beats about 100,000 times a day, so occasionally some of the beats may feel a little bit different. Avoiding caffeine, stress and any kind of stimulants can help. If you notice chest pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or prolonged symptoms this can be more serious and should be rechecked. The only thing about your flutters is the exertional component, so do monitor it for the above.
