Depends on: What kind of STD you are talking about. Having said that, most antibiotics (provided the bacteria are sensitive to them) should be working well by the 4th day. Even if the bacteria have not been totally eradicated, they would have become less infectious to people. The answer depends on what kind of germ you are being treated for.
