I woke up this morning with a sore neck on the left side. rubbed it and found an almond sized tender lump under my earlobe at the angle of my jaw.

Neck mass : In this area of your neck, this could be a sebaceous cyst in the superficial skin of the neck, a lymph node, or a parotid gland mass. I do advise you see an otolaryngologist to evaluate this.
