A member asked:

I had a stress test done. and the tech asked me my bra size. he said it's to help figure out the density of muscle. is that an appropriate question?

Not unreasonable: It is important to consider the density of the tissues in-between the camera and the heart when obtaining the pictures in order to avoid false attenuation (reduction) in the image which might mimic a problem with the heart. It's not unreasonable to use bra size as an estimate. I am sure that the tech is a professional and nothing risqué was intended.
