Recurrent BV, yeast: Both BV and yeast can recur despite standard remedies, very frustrating for patients and often their doctors as well. Recurrent yeast often is preventable with oral fluconazole (Diflucan) weekly, or when other antibiotic needed. Vaginal metronidazole (Metrogel) may prevent BV. Vaginal boric acid capsules can help prevent both. Try to find gyn who subspecializes in infectious diseases. Good luck!
