See a dentist ASAP: A tooth infection won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus, brain and to other areas of your head and neck. Dentist will treat a tooth abscess by treating the cause and getting rid of the infection. See your dentist ASAP.

Possibly, but act : If the amount of decay is not so extensive than your tooth can be saved, but you need to act now. The swelling is dangerous to your systemic health and has the potential to make you very sick! You need to seek out and a dentist to start treatment now! If you tooth is not salvageable, seriously consider a dental implant, but it all starts with that first dental visit!

Abscess: Your face is swollen from a tooth infection that is getting worse and spreading. This needs immediate antibiotic coverage and definitive treatment. Whether or not the tooth can\should be saved or extracted can be determined by your own dentist. The sooner you seek treatment the better as these situations can go down hill very fast and even become a medical emergency.

Bump/swelling is pus: The bump and swelling are from the infection. You need to have the tooth treated ASAP. It will probably require a root canal or an extraction. The infection can get serious very quickly. Sometimes these can make breathing and swallowing difficult and require hospitalization.
