Chemical injury: Please see your doctor asap - as you may have a chemical burn of your eye. This would require treatment.

Conjunctivitis: Most likely this is a chemical conjunctivitis, where you have irritated the lining of the eye. Hopefully you irrigated your eye at once at the time of the incident. You should see your ophthalmologist. This will probably need to be treated with artificial tears and topical antibiotics.
