Escitalopram: I would give the medication more time and also incorporate non-pharmacological options. Take care.

Anxiety=complicated: Anxiety is complicated symptom It can come on because of stress about various factors. It can be part of an anxiety condition or perhaps a panic disorder or may even be related to depression It can be due to social or performance factors. It may even be related to a medical condition. Of course it can be due to underlying conflicts that will require therapy as well as perhaps medication.

Yes.: Escitalopram is a good mediation for panic, but both the doses and duration of time for effect in anxiety disorders exceed those for depression. At four weeks you will have achieved about 80% of the effect of the 20 mg dose.. At that point will be the decision to wait&watch or increase . Slow and careful balances risk against effectiveness. Take some time , let it work.
