I fell and have a near complete tear of my acl and have tear to my medial and lateral meniscus. i have surgery next week. what should i expect?

Long rehab: The surgery will repair the damaged areas, and then you will start a long process of physical rehabilitation. Stay diligent in the rehab because after surgery it is the most important aspect of recovering your function.

Moderate pain: Depends on how much surgery is to be done. Meniscus only is less complex. Acl reconstruction is more extensive. Usually done as outpatient. Physical therapy as soon as you are able.
