See answer: With a normal sed rate, temporal arteritis would be unlikely. Have your dr check for other causes of your symptoms. Good luck.

May biopsy: Ta i would not think is common at your age but nonetheless, your symptoms may or may not suggest this. With normal sed rate, i would have surgeon perform biopsy because you may have another diagnosis unrelated. On pathology, giant cells are seen. Treatment is with steroids.
