Zoloft & Wellbutrin (bupropion): With the hundreds of Physicians I work with closely, I frequently see combination anti-depressants by experienced Psychiatrists. They are usually prescribing smaller doses of each, and will obviously be doing liver function and other labs at appropriate intervals, but you need to ask your prescribing Physician. Psychiatrists are very attentive to med side effects

Yes: Zoloft (sertraline) can have an unfortunate side effect of anorgasmia. It is really unacceptable, but if Zoloft (sertraline) is helping, it is hard to give it up. It is a common practice among psychiatrists to prescribe a medicine to counteract that side effect, and buproprion is often a first choice. It is a safe combination, although the dose may have to be optimized. Experience says it often works. Good luck!
