Atypical mole: A biopsy report of "slightly atypical with clear margins" does not indicate melanoma or a need to remove more tissue. However, the accuracy of the biopsy report depends on the reliability of the pathologist. If your instinct leaves you in doubt, you might ask for a second opinion from a different pathologist.
