Had shave biopsy done of mole on shoulder and lower back. why do i have to use small bandaids? why cant site have scabs or be dry? what is the oozing? whats normal for these sites? whats not normal? what can i expect to happen?

After shave biopsy: Use small bandaids to avoid irritation of the area as it is healing. If you are noticing persistent oozing days after shave biopsy, please see your doctor for follow up. Pain, redness, bloody or yellow/green discharge is not normal. Under normal conditions it should take about 7-10 days for the area to fully scab over as skin begins to heal underneath
