IBS/ gastroparesis: IBS, irritable bowel syndrome and gastroparesis are rather poorly understood conditions. The approach is usually multidisciplinary and I would advise involving early a gastroenterologist at a tertiary center in order to confirm the diagnosis and to start a therapeutic trial. Starting a food log along with symptoms log will help anywhere along the way.

Gastroparesis : Regarding the gastroparesis alone, You will going through treatment options and medication trials, some if which have limited or no availability in the US. If all else fails, ask your gastroenterologist about a gastric stimulator (Enterra) implantation as a last resort. It helps about 2/3 on the time, but the amount of benefit is unpredictable. Hope this helps!
