No risk: Yes, this is one reason why oral exposure to HIV, or exposure to contaminated food, rarely if ever transmits the virus. There are other reasons as well, related to the biology of the virus, the amount of virus, dilution of blood in food, heat, and susceptibility of oral and upper gastrointestinal tissues, etc. But disregard the biological reasons. It just doesn't happen; the reasons don't matter.
