A member asked:

Saw my dr for vaginal burning.no infections there or uti. could it be non infectious vaginitis from chemical menopause due to chemo?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Some chemo regimens can cause menopause. In menopause you typically produce little to no estrogen. The genital tract tissues depend on estrogen to remain moist and of normal thickness. If those vaginal tissues get dry and thinned they can cause burning and itching which are mild forms of pain.
