Good nutrition: A well rounded nutrition is always good but supplements to assist healing don't really help since your body uses calcium and metabolite s already in your body.

No smoking: Smoking slows healing take vit d ~ 1000 iu per each 25# body wt per day and do as you are told by your surgeon elevate the arm most of the time to avoid swelling and move the fingers as much as possible.
