Thin Walled Veins: The hand has a complex blood supply to each finger. There are two digital arteries on each finger which are "thick" walled and relatively easy to sew for replants.The veins are "Thin Walled" & easy to compromise. If you catching or lifting anything with heavy resistance, you can easily rupture veins. Consider wearing gloves, such as bicycle gloves, for many activities with resistance in a day.
