PCOS: Often runs in families so genetic often. Cysts form on the ovaries and often compete for hormonal balance, making your cycles absent or heavy. Other symptoms occur, chiefly insulin resistance and obesity, hair loss and facial acne. There can be problems with infertility. See a gynecologist and go through your symptoms and get some help.
