Globus sensation: Globus (lump) sensation may have multiple etiologies such as rhinitis with post nasal drip (allergic, vasomotor, infectious), laryngopharyngeal reflux (acid/pepsin/bile) into throat, cryptic tonsillar debris, and various tumors (less common). Monitor diet, consider trial of OTC acid medication and/or allergy medication. Follow up with ENT for evaluation with persistent symptoms.
