Acid up: if you are pregnant now the increase pressure in youe abdomen from enlarging uterus will push the acid from your stomach up to your esophagus that is reflux in early pregnancy the hormonal changes your body experiencing will first create more acid ,then sevond it will relaxation in the sphincter between the stomach and the esophagus allowing more acid up
