Im 39 weeks today and have been dilated to a 5, 50% effaced since monday. my contractions haven't been consistent ranging from 30 mins to 15 mins apart..could i asked to be induced and what are my chances they will let it happen?

You could ask: But it sounds like you will have a natural birth. Wait just a little longer as long as you have accurate dates, and hopefully natural labor will occur. Walk lots,be active. This recommendation comes only if the baby is healthy. All the best. 1st baby or more?
