Could be a number..: ..of things. "Strange sensations" for most people mean some type of tingling or numbness. A significant cause of lower leg symptoms is due to nerve compression in the back, but usually this would involve only one leg/foot. Peripheral neuropathy, dysfunction of the nerves in the feet/legs, is common with many causes including diabetes, etc. Symptoms at night suggest Restless Leg Syndrome. NEED EVAL
