Second Opinion: I'm sorry to hear that you're having abdominal pain AND diagnosis concerns. Have you expressed your concerns to your current GI doctor? If so, it sounds like you need a second opinion. Doctors must address patient care concerns & provide the necessary education for each patient to understand his/her diagnosis. Note: If your pain is acutely worsening, please go to the Emergency Room. Don't be shy!

My GI Doc put me on Pentasa (mesalamine) for possible Crohn's, hard to diagnose me at this time. The med is working some, is this an indication I could have it ?
I was diagnosed with Crohn's 10 years ago by colon biopsy. Had a colonoscopy last year and new doc said he saw no traces of crohn's..Is that possible?
Have severe intestinal pain for 2 years now. Had mre of small bowel and colonoscopy w/biopsies, stool samples. All normal. Doc says ibs. Could this be crohns? I eat bland and still have pain.
Honest opinion Went to s new GI he read my old charts and disagreed with crohns biopsy. Never did a phy exam saw him 3x just keeps ordering more test?
